Party Tomato Bisque – A great party appetizer, this tomato bisque is! It is chillled, therefore you don’t have to worry about keeping it warm, just put it on the food table and relax and enjoy the party! Easily made ahead, but it is so quick and easy, there is really no need; just blend, and chill.

1 1/2 cups vegetable juice cocktail
1 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 Tomatoes

Warm Meditterranian Bread – This heavenly homemade bread, with a tatste of the meditterrinian, is a fabulous warm start to any meal. Serve it warm, right out of the breadmaker, or toast it slightly, in the oven or even on the BBQ! Extra moist and appetizing from the yogurt in the recipe.

Ingredients to make Warm Meditterranian Bread
1/2 c Water
2 c White bread flour
3 tb Yogurt,plain
2 ts Dry milk
1 tb Sugar
1 ts Salt
2 ts Butter
1 pinch Garlic powder
4 ts Black olives,chopped
1/2 ts Sweet basil
1/2 ts Dill weed
2 1/2 tb Feta cheese
2 1/2 tb Cucumber,pureed
1/2 ts Fast-Rise yeast *** OR ***
1 ts Active-Dry yeast
SUCCESS HINTS: Cucumber should be peeled, seeded, and then pureed. If the feta cheese is packed in water, drain well. Finely chop the black olives.
