Festive Cheese Ball - This supreme cheese ball recipe is loaded with creamy cheese and crunchy almonds, giving it an “out of this world” flavor and texture. Since it is so elegant, and presents so well, we suggest it as a perfect, easy, Christmas appetizer recipe.

Ingredients to make Festive Cheese Ball
8 oz Cream cheese, softened
1 c Sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz Sharp cold pack cheese food, plain or with wine
1 tb Grated onion
1 c Toasted sliced almonds
2 tb Chopped parsley
Directions to make Festive Cheese Ball
Step 1:Beat cheese, milk, onion and 3/4 cup almonds until well blended. Chill at least one hour. Shape into a ball; wrap in waxed paper and chill several hours or overnight.
Step 2:Chop remaining almonds; add parsley. Roll ball in almond parsley mixture. Rewrap cheese ball until ready for use. Remove from fridge about one hour before needed, unwrap and let come to room temperature.

Party Tomato Bisque - A great party appetizer, this tomato bisque is! It is chillled, therefore you don’t have to worry about keeping it warm, just put it on the food table and relax and enjoy the party! Easily made ahead, but it is so quick and easy, there is really no need; just blend, and chill.

Ingredients to make Party Tomato Bisque
1 1/2 cups vegetable juice cocktail
1 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 Tomatoes
Directions to make Party Tomato Bisque
Step 1:In a blender container, combine vegetable juice cocktail, yogurt, 4 tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper. Cover and blend at medium speed until smooth. Cover and refrigerate several hours to blend flavours
